This Dino Ten Frame is super easy to make, fun and exciting!
Wait, but what’s a ten frame?
A ten frame is a way (an easy method) to teach toddlers and preschoolers about numbers and number sense. It’s helps them count and visually see the quantity for each number. It also exercises and improves cognitive skills, fine, small and gross motor skills depending on the size of your frames.
Ten frames make learning a ton of fun!
You can literally use anything for ten frames; buttons, pom-poms, legos, duplos, blocks, play-dough, cheerios, pouch lids, mini erasers, the list can go on and on. I’ve even seen some use magnetic tiles! How fun!

Let the child pick a number and fill as many frames with dinos, one per frame.

What is my child learning and improving?
- Numbers (number sense, visually seeing the amount of dinosaurs for each number)
