Instagram post 2193015936553316257_8373812526 MINI CHRISTMAS WREATHS
These Mini Christmas Wreaths are made from cardboard, elastics and the most wonderful nature finds of the season!

These mini wreaths are super easy to create, in fact, prep takes only a few minutes and requires only some basic materials. If you don’t have a craft knife, you can use a good pair of scissors to cut out the wreathes. These Mini Christmas Wreaths have all the feels of Winter, using Christmas tree branches, twigs with red berries (that we luckily found, because they look gorgeous!) and leaves. Anything you can find outdoors, even in the snow like us, works for these wreaths.

Kids had a blast creating their little decor statements. Of course my younger one had his own ideas for the wreath, placing only the twigs with berries on one side of the wreath…only…but oh well, his effort and skills count! My daughter (5) loves stuff like this. She’s the crafty one, even more craftier than me (not that I am by any means), but she comes up with the most wonderful and creative ideas and sometimes shares them with me. My little co-worker in progress, I guess. Anyways, her wreath came out beautiful and she was proud of it (and so was I!).

These Nativity Story Wooden Disks are a simple, yet an exciting and creative way to tell the story of Christmas.

They’re really easy to make, requiring only a couple of supplies plus your best drawing skills 🙂 My drawings aren’t amazing, but if kids can differentiate the drawings than it’s all good.

My kids loved this unique way to experience the Christmas Story, visually seeing every character from the Bible!

These Scrap Paper Christmas Tree Cards are simply adorable and perfectly easy for little ones to create! 🙌🏻They make a lovely, handmade Holiday card for grandparents, friends, teachers and loved ones.

This is a wonderful idea for those extra pieces of scrap paper you might have lying around from previous crafts and projects. ✨ I had a few Christmas themed pieces of scrap paper from long ago plus I added some basic holiday colors like reds, greens, whites and alike which worked great for this craft.

My little ones loved making these little cards! 😊 They were excited to pick and choose their own colors and patterns of the cardstock. I pre-cut the scraps into triangles (which you totally don’t have to do with older kids as they can use kid-safe scissors to cut their own), so all they had to do was “construct” a Christmas tree, choosing a larger triangle of scrap paper for the bottom and going down in side as they glued the remainder of the tree. It was a ton of fun! But wait! 😁 The best part, of course, is creating the snow by dabbing a q-tip into white paint and then onto the card. So unique and exciting for kids!

Instagram post 2190861642882096081_8373812526 Starting our little journey to find baby Jesus ✨ We were gifted this beautiful Shepherd’s Treasure book, plush Shepherd boy and baby Jesus last year and it’s such a fantastic idea for little ones, my kids are loving it! You read the book (adding hot chocolate and cookies is optional but totally advised ☺️), then every day of December you hide the Shepherd boy and verse card around the house for kiddos to find. Can’t wait till the 25th when they discover the baby 🙌🏻 This will surely be our tradition!

Do you have any Christmas traditions?

This Glitter Sensory Writing Pad (Holiday Theme) is a combination of sensory play and writing! Kids will explore sensories while improving their writing skills, fine motor skills and letters along with numbers.

It’s really easy to prep and doesn’t require a ton of fancy materials. Best of all, kids love this and it makes learning to write a ton of fun.

To make this writing pad holidays appropriate and a tad more festive I’ve used reds and golds for glitter. But you can use what ever you have on hand!

This Clothespin Counting Card activity is a wonderful way to introduce counting, learn about quantities and familiarize with numbers. It’s also great for improving and exercising fine motor skills, cognitive skills as well as for learning colors. It’s fantastic overall, especially the fact that it takes less than 5 minutes to prep!

I love activities that are super quick to prep and don’t require many materials. I’m always super excited to share these types of activities with you because I know no one has the time for long set-ups and runs to craft supply stores. We’re all busy and have a ton to do, but kids and their education are priority also. So that’s why I love simple, quick-to-set up activities that will engage a child, help them learn and improve a wide range of developmental areas all at once and is plain fun! You guessed it, this Clothespin Counting Cards activity is everything!
